Aberdeen Amateur Swimming Club was established in 1980 and has a history of training swimmers to compete at National and International level. AASC were Scottish Swimming's Club of the Year for 2015. We are a self-funded swimming club committed to teaching individuals of all ages to swim whether it be to compete or just for fun and fitness.
Swimmers from the associated Learn to Swim Scheme, which has a membership of over 1000 swimmers, feed up into the competitive squads, of which there are presently 5, as well as an associated junior fitness squad and a masters squad. We also have a thriving water polo section. We also welcome swimmers from other LTS schemes.
The Club programme is designed to be inclusive, equitable and progressive, with all coaches qualified and trained.
